There are 2 main theories but they are still being debated

Biological intelligence – suggests it is genetic and passed on to our kids.
thinking and problem solving just come naturally to some people, while others just sit there and wait for someone else to do it.
The correlation between the IQs of all identical twins is usually very high, indicating that their identical genetic inheritance is a more powerful determinant of intelligence than their experiences

Environment – we learn what we have to
the ability to use tools has been used to measure intelligence in animals... using a tool is a method of solving a problem. People learn too

even though certain mental abilities are inherited, without the necessary stimulation a child’s intelligence will not develop
That why we encourage our kids to think and do things fro themselves

psychologist Arthur Jensen claims that overall differences in IQ scores between the races are largely inherited.

Personally, Id say it’s a mix of both. Evolution plays a role in genetics, and that’s based on the environment and adapting to changes. That’s why we aren’t all cavemen, grunting and dragging each other into caves for a date  Well, that’s usually true. Some guys just haven’t caught up yet

I believe (and so do many others) that parents who know how to talk to their babies and how soon to begin doing that will increase the brain connections in their baby's or toddler's brain; and from there intelligence builds. Many good parents don't realize how much the newborn baby will benefit from talking and certain types of nurturing; and, as a result, many children are left to develop at a nice-but-average pace on their own. By the time many parents begin thinking about helping the child to develop intellectual skills the child's brain is all formed. It doesn't mean this child will not be of normal intelligence. It does mean, however, that this child was not given the two or three solid years' headstart in many types of intellectual skills.

Its like opening a savings account. Some people may put a few thousand dollars in when they open the account and build their savings on top of that by depositing x amount a month. Other people may put fifty dollars in and build on that by depositing the same x amount a month. One account has had a headstart and if both people continue doing the same thing that account will always have more in it. Its the same for brain-building.

Comparison is the culprit. I work from home in shorts and T-shirts and sometimes topless. I strive to create a new page for my

websites everyday but I have all the freedom I need and making money 24/7 on the internet with

Google Adsense and some affiliate programs. The only thing that tie me down is 'how much income I

want or need'. Because the more websites and traffic I have will determine how much income I can

much.

Anyone who can create websites or blogs to provide lots of good information can make money from

Google Adsense. Blogger.com and Google pages lets you create blogs for free and allows you to

make money too.

You can make money by joining me or Google as a publisher and publishing Google Adsense on your

websites. If someone clicks on those ads, you will earn money.

Why sign up with me? Because we can link to each other to get more traffic and income.

There's different kinds of intelligent. One person can be really good at memorizing useless information from books and lectures, but have little to no common sense when it comes to simple tasks.

The environment.

An environment is a complex of surrounding circumstances, conditions, or influences in which a thing is situated or is developed, or in which a person or organism lives, modifying and determining its life or character.
