my iq is 118 but im 11. Is that a good thing? Or am i like everyone else?

The average IQ of the population is, by definition, 100
You are therefore "above average"
Since IQ is defined as 100 x (Mental Age) / (Chronological Age) and you are 11, the IQ test giving you the result of 118 has determined that you have a mental age of 13 (well, 12.98)
It is "normal" for you.... I am not sure how the term normal would apply in general however. The average IQ of college professors is purportedly 130 (upper 3% of the population)

you are doing good kid. IQ test have one error associated with them. The life experiences of the tester must be the same as the one that made up the test, otherwise, the one taking the test will not have a clue to what the question is. There are many IQ test on the market and each one has a different scale as to average, ect.

where did you get did result? There are a lot of IQ tests and they different for every age. But most of the tester, especially on the Internet, don't give such an information. Anyway, if the result is true it is vey normal, being so clever is not very good for everytime. not complain about that.

Most likely kids your age don't know what IQ is. Asking the rest of the world questions on Yahoo - you are doing quite well. I don't believe you have much to worry about. You are one smart kid.

a individual with a a hundred thirty IQ does not ask this style of stupid question. they may be clever sufficient to renowned what a typical IQ is. i think of the question that it is critical to to be asking is, "Is it prevalent to be posting a of course bragging question on YA to have ones ego stroked?" the respond may be, "No, it is not."
