Go to the doctors. It could be a lot of different things but you need to get it checked out.

Ah, I have this problem too, but eveybody is different. It could be a number of things.

1: You might be having Bowel Spasms (which is what i get)
2: You may be releasing too many eggs in between your periods
3:You may have a cyst on your ovary(s)

Go to the doctor as soon as possible cos it took my doctor 4 years to actually do anything about it. Say to him/her you want a Laparoscopy. Nothing to worry about, its a simple operation. They'll make two small incisions: One just under your bellybutton and another one just above your pubic region. This is so they can get a tiny camera in there and have a look around your abdomen and see whats going on.

Hope this helps!

hello,

I had this problem a few months ago,is there a possibility of a miscarridge?
When i had this heavy period i also had pains and clots coming out..i had been suffering a lot of stress for a while,-my husband had just stopped drinking..and i had been going through an emontional roller -coaster..it is better now.So it could be stress and a hormone imbalance. But do get it checked out at the doctors, anything that isnot your usual pattern should be looked at.

hope you feel better soon..put your feet up,have a sugery tea..and watch a black and white movie.

You need to reassure yourself quickly by seeing a doctor. If there's a chance you could be pregnant it maybe signs of a miscarriage.Unaccountable pain and bleeding combined are warnings signs of something not right. Most times there's nothing wrong but better to be safe and put your mind at rest.

For pregnant women, heavy bleeding with pain means you are having a miscarriage...you should have consulted the doctor early on.

Consult a doctor, so you'll know for sure.

It may not be anything to worry about, but if you have recently had unprotected sex you may be pregnant and you should definatley go and get checked other by your gp, it may not be the case it may just be your period starting early. However you are in pain so i suggest that you ring NHS direct 0845 4647 and they will be able to help you further with a qualified nurse who will call you back with some advice. hope this helps?

If you are sexually active you could have been pregnant or my still be pregnant or you may of had a STD and did not know it and your body could be trying to purge it self of the infection, or your hormone levels could have changed (sometimes they do that) and it will give you heavy bleeding and a new period.
