Wet dreams are not a necessary part of growing up. Some boys get them, some don't. It is perfectly normal and less sleep-disturbing to not have them.

I have never had a wet dream either, always wondered about it, but really just felt like I was missing out on something, take comfort in the fact that you will never pass out at a buddies house and start humping a pillow while he is video taping and then posts it to the web,

Usually you wont have them if you have sex or masturbate often. If you don't often you will have a build up of hormones and penis sensitivity, that will take action while you sleep as it rubs around. I am 25 and my last one was when I was 23, when I went without sex and masterbation for 3 months. I had a sex dream and I woke up to an orgasm, wow what a shock that was. I thought it was only teenagers that have them. Nope. Try going without any release whatsoever until you have one. It will happen I'm sure. Those who don't have them are probably clearing the pipes.

If you masturbate, then yes, it is normal. Wet dreams usually happen when you abstain for a long period of time.

not everyone gets them...
you must know if you do masturbate chances are you will not have any wet dreams. basically it happens when you do not masturbate/have sex after long periods.
i am 25 and i have only had a few i can remember...
do not stress about not having them either... it will just make you worry unnecessarily!!
