Although true, what is really behind all this is the capitalist system.
It works magnificently now, but it could be the undoing of earth itself one day.
I am hoping that capitalism cures earth's current problems rather than aggravates them.
The USA is only a big part of the capitalist system, no longer all it appears to stand for.

It is because of this power that will keep other countries in line. You should only worry if a nation such as Korea or Iran develops these weapons. There are radicals out there that would use them against Israel in a heartbeat and the USA will protect Israel at all costs. The ability to destroy mankind has been available for many years. There are enough viruses stored to do it. The USA will do what it takes to protect it`s people and our way of life and that`s the way it should be. If it means taking out North Korea, you better believe that this country would do it.

It isn't our weapons that can do the most damage. Our industrial and economic practices do far greater damage to the world than our weapons could, but it's normally slow and subtle. That makes it even more dangerous,because it's harder to see.

in case you want to chip in, turn of your computer, your television and your video games and iPOD for good. also, walk the 5 miles to college and do not journey. waiting to hitch in ? Oh yeah ... throw away the cellular telephone also.
