My apologies for not being very explicit with the title of this very same question the first time I posted it.
What I meant to phrase was, "she ran off with s'one else, one month after the breakup" - we actually had a relationship for 1 year.
In a nut shell, the girl I was with was absolutely besotted with me. She showered me with so much love and kept asking me to marry her. I gave her all my trust and kept re-assuring her I wanted no other girl. But this just didn't seem to sink into her. I am no player whatsoever. I never doubted the way she felt about me, but I cannot understand how she could so easily spilt up with me and then go off and have a relationship with her work colleague after just 1 month.
It seems that her insecurities turned full circle and hit me right where it hurts. Ever since, I have never been the same person. My chin scrapes the ground. my heart feels like an elephant has sat on it. worst of all, I keep re-analysing how everything just turned for the worst..

What was your response when she asked you to marry her, and why the hesitance. Words are just that and Action is what she needed, apparently.
Seeking out another after a short period of time, says a lot about her.
Pick your chin up, dust off the dirt, and your Heart will mend, if you allow yourself to Love again, the girl of your dreams is right around the corner.
Don't analyze this, let your Love go to another, this was not worth it.

well i think she was just making sure that she wouldnt end up without a man so she wanted to have a gueranteed and stable man and she didnt really intend to marry u she just saw a possbile candidate in u, somehow ur colleague had something more or better than u so she moved on to her next target...she needs a security and insurance, in order to get that she lies to everyone including herself....she doesnt desrve u so it was actually good that she broke up before hurting u more, there are plenty of beautiful and real love seeking ladies out there so no worries just try to forget get involved with ppl be social and time will heal everything
