Start by looking up Cantor's diagonal argument and cardinality of real numbers vs cardinality of rationals. Then read about transfinite ordinal and cardinal numbers from a set theory book and as a high point, finish with Generalized Continuum Hypothesis and mention the results of Goedel and Paul Cohen on this topic. This should make a very good undergraduate project.

(1) There is a book named "On Algorithms and Complexity for Sets with Cardinality Constraints" on internet.....
Go thru the link .. They give you the whole book in pdf format....(MIT-LCS-TR-997.pdf )

http://www.lcs.mit.edu/publications/specpub.php?id=1788

(2) There is a digital book index... All you need to register for free & then you can continue using it...

http://www.digitalbookindex.org/

Hope both the above links will be useful in successful completion of your project.... Cheers!!!

There are no more rational numbers than integers, but there are more real numbers than integers, is that the sort of cardinality you mean? Sounds fun!
