drugs are drugs, by their nature they affect how and what we do in given circumstances. having a spliffy at a party is another ball game away from jacking heroin... but there is a connection however tenuous. everyone screams about weed being a gateway drug.. it leds to other drugs and experimentation..so what exactly does the goverments education policy on drugs do?

ive been smoking pot for over 30 years, and my kids arrive home from school with armfulls of literature..all about the different types of drug, and what the hit is like.. and even how to do it.. (modern teachng prepares your kids for life)

the govt drug message sucks...just say no... have they never heard of peer pressure... one spliff and youre hooked.. ten minutes into any party on saturday night someones got a joint going...and your precious teenager realises the govt waffle is all bull shi t..so they lied about weed, what else are they lying about? kids dont consider the health implications, they just think its coz we dont want them to have a good time...

a line? a line of what? ... ooohhh, i dont know.. well everyone else is having a dab... and they arent dying, they dont smell bad, they havent lost all self respect, and are injecting into their scrotum... yes ok...

all because mum and dad, didnt tell teh truth. you arent there 24/7, how can you expect your kids to make a decision when the information they've been given is bogus and innacurate scaremongering....

drugs need controls. at the moment the dealer want only your cash, he'll selll to anyone and everyone.. control teh suppply and bring it inside the law... and apply penalties..draconian ones to miscreants footpads and nerdowells.

the taxation revenue generated on pot alone would run the NHS, and our schools... 5.6million tokers in the UK (est 10%) each buying a quarter a week (£25) that 140 million per week thats bypassing the exchequer..or £7 billion per year..

and whats amazing, folks would happily pay the tax.. but no Gordon has no imagination..instead they install more gatso cameras, and screw you on tobacco and fuel duty instead.

Seems to me that Britain and the US have the same problem here.
The answer may be to legalise ALL hard drugs. Supply them through pharmacies in whatever quantity the customer wants and as frequently as he or she wants. The only stipulation being that the drugs MUST be used while in the pharmacy "Fix room".

Since most druggies are of weak will/intellect and have a subconscious death wish in any case, this will accelerate the process and we'll be rid of a worthless subset of society. It's a much cheaper option than trying to achieve the impossible and cure them.

Once the youth of the day see bodies lying around in the streets, they'll soon begin to realise that taking drugs is not such a good idea. The market will die a natural death within one or two years.

Legalize drugs and them tax them, like in Amsterdam. The government would save tons of money trying to prevent people from doing what they want to, and will do anyway.
The government would do away with the black market with legal access to drugs.
People will say that they want to protect the children. But in societies where drugs are legal, a funny thing happens. Kids growing up have little interest in things that people are allowed to do. They tend to want to get involved in things that are deemed alternative and illegal. That , my friend, is a weird twist of human nature.

Don't know - alcohol and cigarettes are legal and look what they've done to society. They don't have half as much of an effect as drugs. Would we all be high all day long. How would it benefit society? We all know how much alcoholics ruin their families lives, what would all that accessible drugs to?
I don't think legalising the stuff is the answer. We need campaigns to highlight the effects of drug abuse, as well as anti-publicity, with celebrity drug users being made out to be the feckless idiots they are.

First define your drug, any drug can be a poison in the wrong dosage
Alcohol and tobacco are currently tolerated if used responsibly
Often they are abused as we see every weekend in Britain and at football matches, to our shame
Tobacco often causes a horrible death, this should be remembered - whoever it is supplied by doesn't matter, no drug is risk-free and statistics are examined by governments in considering their availability
If drugs of chemical addiction were to be permitted then medical doctors should be allowed to decide their dispensation after evaluating if the patient could be supported to find a happier solution ?

A Youtube video can't be used as data, marijuana does not therapy maximum cancers, besides the indisputable fact that it may help handle part-outcomes of chemotherapy. jointly as hemp could be clever it is going to break many peoples places of paintings, i.e the those that paintings with cotton, polyester, and different textiles. the government could make some money, besides the indisputable fact that many different countries the place marijuana is legal already improve it in mass parts and could be those that earnings by and massive from the legalization. additionally by legalizing it you get rid of the jobs of officers devoted to finding and making an investment marijuana circumstances, as with many legal professionals focusing on it. Your next factor does not make any experience so i will overlook approximately that. Binge eating does not positioned holes on your head, besides the indisputable fact that it does injury the liver and is extra risky than smoking marijuana. there is not any afterlife so because it is invalid. by evolution which potential human beings have smoked weed, no longer we are meant to. and additionally state some examples of your final "actuality". Marijuana does not provide up pollutants I have not any concept the place you even have been provided that. thousands and thousands of human beings are employed by marijuana's illegality, sellers, growers, or maybe the police. jointly as i agree it is going to possibly no longer have been made unlawful, legalizing it may positioned thousands and thousands of human beings in jeopardy and shrink performance in usa at a factor the place it is critical that we step it up.
