I'm refering to the touching between male and female human beings, nothing to do with animals. Would love to hear the guys' point of view as well as girls' point of view.

And would you consider it "adultery" if you were married and doing it with someone other than your spouse? Why? Why not?

first of all petting is part of having sex, it can be foreplay, just like monica and bill thats sexual relations already, and yes it is adultery no matter how you rationalize it, if you are married and you tell your spouse you just have a petting session with someone , i guess he/she will have a fit!! don't you think so?

Petting is a sexual activity - more close to foreplay - but fall a little short of it. In my view, petting does not have a direct contact on the sexual body parts; if its does, then its a foreplay. More common form of petting are: kissing, necking, breast caresing, touching over dress, etc

Petting could, be all types of forplay, kissing, hugging, rubbing each other's genitals, and could even include oral sex if you desire. If your married and doing these activites with another with out your partners permisson, then yeah I would say it could constitute adultry.
