Why do I feel that, if Google started a Google Answers, it would be faster, cleaner, and things would be organised by themes in a much clearer way? And why do I feel that humour would be largerly allowed on it, unlike on Yahoo! Answers?
(they'll probably kick me out for having dared to ask this?)

[yeah, they will kick you out for asking this question] Google answers would be better they are much more neater, they have got a nice colour co-ordination and they are much more faster. As someone else had also said 'every baby needs time to grow' The yahoo people should add many more features to it . So that it can compete with other search engines.

Actaully, there is a Google Answers, but it's not free. There you can get answers from real professionals. So it's completely humourless...
The good thing in Yahoo! Answers is that if you can get over the idiots you can both have funny and real answers by people who really want to help.

You can be assured that if GAnswers existed, every word you type in would be logged on a massive database, just like every search you logged and stored. Forever.
Goog is the biggest data mine on Earth, probably bigger than George Soros' mine, and way bigger than Bush's.
And Goog will have the same problem Yahoo does-- it's only as good as the users...

I don't know about Goggle Answers but this site could use some improvement. They repeat the same questions over and over maybe because they fit more than one place. But every baby needs time to grow. Maybe the TEAM Will read this and make improvements.

Ummm..well google actually is overtaking yahoo in everything cause they are much better. I might agree with you on that cause all googles projects are very good and thourough. It might take a while though to get people on it.
