Are women’s nipples sinful?

Think about it. In American culture it is taboo for a woman to show her nipples. However, it is acceptable for her to show every other part of the breast, minus the nipple. Just look at those women on the red carpet. But it is not taboo for men to show nipples, so everyone is aware of the nipple. So, if everyone is aware of the nipple, why is it so taboo for the woman to show her nipple, but not her breast, if everyone already knows what nipples look like?

To me this is just like Donald Duck. He doesn’t wear pants, yet when he comes out of the shower he has a towel wrapped around his waist for modesty.

By the way. I'm modest, I dont even go around showing clevage. I was just wondering about this. I'm not making a statement whether people should walk around naked or not. I just think the situation seems silly.

Again, I'm not defending or suggesting anything. I just thought, as an outsider looking into the world of American pop culture, that this taboo was strange. I AM modest, in my family modesty is HIGHLY expected. I dont even wear makeup! This has nothing to do with my personal life, its an observation of pop culture.

I think it depends on your culture and experiences. For example, my boyfriend spent some time in prison. He uses the toilet with the bathroom door wide open half the time regardless of whether he's sitting or standing. He is used to not having privacy because of the time he was locked up. I would be too mortified to leave the door open like that where he could walk up and see me. But there he is when I walk by with the door wide open. I think the nipple thing is like that metaphorically speaking.

i anticipate you mean which you have areolas yet no nipple that protrudes out. additionally widespread as flat nipples. they are favourite in spite of if it is a situation breast feeding while the time comes. Btw in case you have flat nipples at age 20 they may be that way the entire existence.

Well, I think we need to still show respect, and modest women, such as yourself (if that's what you are) tend to be respected more, because why go around showing everything, and whatever a person does behind closed doors, is entirely their private business. I think there is already enough deprivation out there, we live in a culture where everything goes, I've seen a lot of women walking around without a bra and it doesn't particularly look great, especially when teenagers, or kids are around. It's just simply inappropriate as it is vulgar.

I'm with you on this. Seems like a double standard to me. Everybody knows it's there, and everybody knows what it's intent is biologically speaking. Why then is it something that causes such a level of uncomfortableness in people if it is seen? I can see covering up the lower part, but not the breasts. Not a whole lot different other than size and function between the sexes.

maybe it have something to do with women letting men play with their breast but raise the stop sign when you touch the nipple (and not because of over sensitivity :)
BTW, I love the duck/towel concept , never thought of it...
last comment.... mans nipple are not sexy nor look like women nipples :)

another thing just came to my mind... women nipple actually have functionality... they can milk, while the rest of the ****, are just same skin as the rest of the body.

you have a good night ;)
