I'm glad you saw Layer Cake, but I've wondered which ending you actually saw... the DVD had several alternate endings. You probably saw him being shot at the end. Another movie with a nice twist at the end was an old classic, The Cincinnati Kid with Steve McQueen. (You might also enjoy the remake of this film which had Sylvester Stallone has the master card player.)

I've never seen a movie that I haven't been able to guess the ending to. I'm either too perceptive or I've only ever seen crappy, predictable movies.

It sucks; I'd like to be surprised by an ending for once.

Dirty Marry, Crazy Larry.
Don't read the next bit if you've never seen it and might.

It's about a robbery, and a car chase, and just when it looks like they're gonna get away BOOM their car gets hit by a train, bursts into flames and up roll the end credits.
That totally caught me by suprise.

A small film called CONfidence, that had quite a cool ending that i didnt really see coming. Not like the daft girl at school who thought i'd ruined the movie titanic by saying that it sunk!
