hmm.. what happens? Could it be that the cell does not have enough energy to continue working? I don't know. :[

Logic would tell me that we would get replenished from the foods we eat. And I'm not talking McDonald's! It is imperative that we eat good foods for its nutritional and chemical value. Everything is at a chemical level in all the cells so what we take in as food is a very delicate process.

adenosine triphosphate is converted into adenosine diphosphate, then it is recharged up to edenosine triphosphate again by the metabolism of sugar in the Krebs cycle ready to transport and release its energy again. so long as the mitichondria have sugars and and oxygen and keep functioning the cycle keeps repeating the adenosine keeps getting recycled.
