Yes, I wear them to work and yes it's part of our dress code. You have to wear either a dress and pantyhose or a skirt with pantyhose.

Pantyhose are part of my employer's dress code. At least now that the weather's getting cooler, it's less annoying to have to wear them.

I get around wearing panty hose by wearing slacks. I live in a hot climate, so in the office, we stay pedicured and wear nice sandals. I like tights in winter but panty hose are itchy and uncomfortable and they run easily. In winter I go for nice slacks with dressy clogs, mules and trouser socks. If I wear dresses or skirts, I wear them long enough to wear thigh highs or knee highs.
