I used to take Yasmin. After getting my period last month, I started a new pack. During this new pack, I only took 4 and stopped. We had sex twice after that. 2 days after I stop taking the pill, I get my period again, for 5 days. Since then, I have been bloated, gained 5 pounds, swollen breasts, spotting, vicious mood swings, exhaustion, and achy down there. Also, dizziness, and nauseousness in the morning and afternoon. I took 2 pregnancy tests, both are negative. Did I take them too soon? Am I possibly pregnant. We had unprotected sex twice last week after the 2nd period stopped. What the heck is going on with me???!!!!

I went through the exact same thing because I quit taking the pill. It was supposed to help ease my cramps and it didn't, so I just quit it cold turkey after three month of taking it. The way birth control works is it tricks your body into thinking your pregnant when your not and them during the last week (#4) those are hormone pills. When you quit taking the pill you will have a period. Well, after your period your body is going to go through kind of withdrawal symptoms because it is not getting the hormones from before, which will cause mood swings, and nausea and what have you. You just have to go back to the doctor tell him/her your situation, where they'll get on to you and put you back on it. When I quit my pills I was a total ***** too. So, just get checked out. You could be pregnant, but I don't think you are. I was freaking out too because I did the same exact thing. Good Luck.

You might be undergoing a condition thats psychologically called mood swings syndrome .. well the best thing is to consult a doctor in such matters , especially involving pregnancy , thats the best !

It really does sound like you are pregnant, but just to make sure go to the Dr. They are the only ones who will tell you if you are or not. Those home pregnancy tests are inaccurate. I took one before that told me that I wasn't pregnant and I believed it until something started kicking me from the inside, lol.

The way you are whining and haven't seen a doctor about it, you seem very immature. What a great time this kid will have.

HUN NOT ONLY SHOULD YOU NEVER STOP TAKING A MEDICATION WITHOUT CONSULTING YOUR DOCTOR BUT YOU JUST MAY BE. SEE YOUR DOCTOR ASAP. YOU COULD BE HAVING WITHDRAWL SYMPTOMS OR SOMETHING ELSE. BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR EVERYTHING YOU JUST SAID OR IT WONT BE AN EFFECTIVE VISIT.
