well...I dont use it, but my mother claims to have used it most of her 48years of marriage and only 2 kids, me and my brother. after stopping to concieve.. worked for her. She claims all other methods like pills caused her heart problems. allergic to the latex in condoms, diaphrams, and iud's caused her to bleed.. so she started the "pull and pray" as she calls it method.. with a window of a 7days a month her husband can safely "go all the way".. haha! hey! if it worked for 48years for her.. I think its a good method.. but you really need to know your body signs to do this.. when you are ovulating etc..

I have used the "pull out method" successfully in over 1,000 episodes with about ten different women over a ten year period. I have several friends that have used it and about half of them were eventually unsuccessful. I attribute my perfect record (in that, I mean I have never pregnated a woman and I do have active "swimmers") to the fact that I pullout when I get even remotely close to orgasm.

The PULL OUT METHOD certainly does work if the man has good control. But personally I would also and have also used the RHTHYM METHOD along with the PULL OUT METHOD. The man can also not pull out with the RM for a few days of each month if you follow your calandar closely, exactly, and I would also use THE SPONGE on those FREE DAYS as we called them. If you use these 3 methods and adhere to them carefully and strictly you won't need to use dangerous chemicals!!!
And, NO, it's NOT the "DUMB" ONES as someone said in the answers, you have to be INTELLIGENT to follow the RM and you have to be disciplined to be able to PULL OUT when you have to. We used the Rhythm Method along with PULL OUT on the days of the month when it was possible to concieve (I also used the SPONGE on those days for extra protection -- real sea-sponge& vinegar -- look up on WIKIPEDIA & other web sites), we never had any unplanned pregnancies in over 30 years !!!
You are being wise to stay clear of these chemicals used for "female" contraception. They can cause a lot of physical (health problems) and if you are in a committed, mature, monogamous, loving relationship -- as you should be if you're having intercourse, then even if you do have an "accident" -- it will be a BLESSED ACCIDENT!!! So, continue using your chosen method and perhaps try to learn the RM from the net or you could learn from your doctor (who will probably try to put you on THE PILL, BUT -- REMAIN STRONG & Just Say "I only asked you to teach me the RM, please', or make arrangements with a parish priest who should be able to teach you or send you to the person who teaches it. And you can also look up THE SPONGE BC METHOD on WIKIPEDIA to use as a back-up method on your 'more' fertile days. You can use natural sea-sponge with vinegar (I believe) and there's also a manufactured commercial sponge available in pharmacies, but it probably has chemicals in it, you'll have to check these things out. But the PO method, the RM, & the Sponge are all excellent, safe methods of BC and will not cause you any physical harm or endanger your future fertility. Best wishes!!!

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/olWkD

It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

I used it for 11 years and 4 months. :D I'm preggers. (and not complaining) Anyhoo...if you mix it along with the calendar method, it proves pretty safe. Calendar method is...you are fertile for a WEEK... 14 days AFTER the first day of your last period. But...there is something to be said about fate.
