This isn't meant to be a stupid or offensive question, i'm truly curious. I'm completely against the concept of suicide in most cases. Therefore, i'm not belittling or exaggerating the act.
For me, i've never actually written one but i know what mine would say as a result of spending too much time in the shower thinking.

Before when I was suicidal I wrote one each to the different people in my life. Wrote different things to all of them. I didn't show or send them to anyone.
