This concoction is totally safe, it is all natural ingredients. Turmeric is a spice and found with all the others at your grocery store. It has anti-inflammatory effects and is beneficial to those with problems such as bursitis or arthritis. It will stain your skin yellowish so that is a disadvantage of this remedy. How did I hear about it? I had problems with my joints and did alot of research and now I even use turmeric in some of my cooking, it adds a good flavor to cooked noodles. I really do not know if this remedy will work to remove scars. Laser might but it is expensive.

Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory. As to the whole combination, I've never heard of it. Coco butter is good for the skin, stretch marks during pregnancy, and on cuts after they heal, acne scars can't say for sure. Something we used when I was young was something called Black-White Ointment, it would remove the epidermis, hardly what I'd call safe looking back but the results were good if followed correctly.

If you have a new, moderately-raised scar, daily massage of the scar using a moisturizer or oil can help soften the stiff scar collagen. Vitamin E oil is sometimes recommended for massaging into scars, but regular moisturizers may work just as well. Medical studies have generally found that vitamin E oil has no special effect on scars, but many Net posters say it has improved their scars when rubbed in daily.

I have all my doubts!! Olive Oil is very sticky and can aggeravate the acne problem. You can try this...this will for sure help you. Take some leaves of mint and crush them properly, make a paste of them . Mint should be fresh. Now apply on ur blemishes for a few days.. visible results in a month. Mint is good and has natural peppermint which helps close pores, so the skin doesnt secrete oil. This will surely help u. Best of luck!

Hey try it. It can't hurt anything. The oil might make your skin oily if that is a concern. Maybe you can try a vitamin E supplement, as well as vitamin E gel on your skin. It's supposed to help with scars. Or even get the gel caps, and put them in with your mix.
It may be a little weird, but if you go up to the cosmetic counter at a Macy's or whatever store near you that sells make up products. They might be able to tell you what helps too.

Turmeric might be good for acne, but it is the stuff that makes mustard yellow so it will probably turn your skin yellow too. For scars, I would probably use calendula oil.

Well I don't even know what turmeric powder is so I know I wouldn't put in on my face. Is the acne severe? Have you tried Proactive? They have a 30 day guarantee so try that and if it doesn't work, return it and get your money back.

my cousin had severe acne, which left her pretty scarred after she got it all cleared up. The Dermatologist prescribed her Retin-A, which acts by peeling the layers of your skin, so that new skin can grow, with out scars. It REALLY worked for her. The only downfall of this is that you cannot have sun exposure, because your skin will become irritated badly.
