I watched this many years ago. I don't have alot of details other than it was live action not animated, there were several fairy tales such as aesop, grimm's, or other tales that were kinda dark fairy tales. I think it contained "the boy who cried wolf" along with other tales such as "rapunzel" possibly "rumpelstiltskin". I do remember one part where a guy met this guy with goat legs (not lion, witch, wardrobe). I know its kinda vague to say the least but if anyone has any ideas i'm sure it would help me to find the title of this movie/tv show. Thank you in advance.

I remember a movie called "Hawk" that had some pretty wild fairtale type of narratives in it and it was live action. It came on tv, late night, it was like Friday late night movies and they were always playing these fantasy type of movies. I remember a guy catching a fish with his bair hands then opening his mouth and eating it whole from Head to tale, if that rings a bell.

there are so many animated options, but not that many live action one. but , from the 80s, check into

the" Sid and Marty Kroft " hour or show.

it was at the right time, and they did do some fairy tales.
