But when people say "how far along are you?", do I say 4 months, 41/2 months or 5 months?
A chart or something would be great.

Hey yeti maybe if you look at a calendar it would show you that there are months with more than 4 weeks.
some people say 4 weeks, some say 5. I was going with the majority.
Now who shouldn't be a mother?
Read my question again. Do you really think I was talking about myself being 19 MONTHS PREGNANT. Get your numbers straight. Thanks

During my pregnany it was four weeks. At 19wks i would just say 5 months.

geez...that Yeti Face is pretty rude. HEY YETI! Take a pill! Damn. My Doc says..."We count you a month pregnant on the 1st day of your missed period." So that's 4 weeks at that point. When peeps ask how far along I am, I always tell them the answer in weeks. Since you are preggers for 40 weeks. It's easier to keep track of I think.

a full term pregnancy is 40 weeks this count begins with the first day of your last period and ends on the due date your doctor gave you. Pregnancy is 10 lunar months or 10 four week increments. [your first month of pregnancy isn't usualy noticed yet cause you haven't missed your period yet that's why everyone says it's 9 months] It's safe or normal to deliver your baby anywhere from 38 weeks to 42 weeks. I'd explain to your friends that are closely following your pregnancy in weeks and the general public in months.

I would just say 19 weeks. Since each trimester has about 13 weeks in it and 13 x 3 is only 39 it's all an estimate anyway.

Well you see you count from the day you had sex... its pretty up front and simple. Plus you know that four weeks are in one month... its really not that hard, if you dont know that youre not ready to be a mom. Also you should learn how to work Yahoo Answers because in your question you said weeks and in your description you said months...get it right buddy

I think technically a month in pregnancy is 28 days, if I were you I guess I would tell people I was 5 months...your closer to that anyways..good luck.

Well there are 4 and a quarter weeks in each month...so if people are too stupid to understand how far you are in weeks...then you shouldn't talk to them.

From conception to confinement it is ten lunar months. One lunar month is from one fullmoon to another. One fourth of it is one lunar week.
