There are several black CEOs in Corporate America, including some very well known corporations. While minorities are only a small percentage of CEOs (white males still dominate) the gap is starting to close!!

Here is an article I found by doing a search on Google for "African American CEOs"

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, on February 10, 2005, Chronicle staff writer, Jason B. Johnson's article includes this information. "The 18 African American executives to reach the rank of CEO include Kenneth Chenault, chairman and CEO, American Express; Aylwin Lewis, president and CEO, Kmart; Pamela Thomas-Graham, CEO and president, CNBC; Richard Parsons, chairman and CEO, Time Warner; and Stanley O'Neal, chairman, CEO and president, Merrill Lynch & Co."
