I had cysts on my ovaries though not PCOS. A recent scan showed that I have a couple only on my right ovary as the others have dissolved. I am 3 months preganant and sometimes get a slight niggle of pain in my right sight. Can anyone tell me if the presence of cysts can cause complications? i'm worried. please help!!

I had cysts show up on my left and right ovaries at a 6 week ultrasound, and they were gone by my 12 week ultrasound. They may just go away, but yes, I did feel a ping of pain now and then. Just make sure that the Dr. keeps an eye on it, but I know a ton of people that had them and have happy healthy babies, just like I'm sure yours will be. Good luck.

During ovulation your ovaries create a cyst (that is going away and is totally ordinary) that releases the egg. These cysts can produce HcG (Manchurian Constrain or the being pregnant hormone) and can provide you a confident on a being pregnant scan. Other instances the ovarian cyst does not depart and maintains to provide a confident influence. Sucks I realize. Either approach, I'd make an appt with an ob/gyn and feature them assess you out.

I also have cysts on my right ovary. I had two boys with no problems at all. My mom also has them and had three kids with no problems.

Keep up seeing the doctor and keep monitoring both pregnancy and tumor(s). My wife at one time thought she was pregnant--turned out she had a 40 pound tumor on her ovary. Almost killed her--so, yes, complications are possible.
