OK So the last time I had sex was in July, I did not use a condom but I used EC within the 72 hours after. I got what seemed to be my period a few days later. I have not had my period since, but instead I get brown discharge, cramps, and a couple weeks ago I had the slightest bit of spotting. I took a pregnancy test at planned parenthood at about 8 weeks after I had sex, and it came up negative. I def. feel like I'm PMSing all the time, for a good 2 months now. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be going on here?

information on EC:
Some women experience temporary side effects when taking emergency contraceptive pills--mainly nausea or vomiting. Less common side effects include temporary headache, breast tenderness, dizziness, fluid retention, mood changes, menstrual irregularity or abdominal cramps. These side effects rarely last longer than a day or two.

you are probably not pregnant, but repeat the test. Go to your doctor if still have no normal period.
