Why is it that it is soo funny - I think the struggle that we all do to stay up that is the best part.. hahaha hahaha
Thanks for the laugh..
I used to fall quite often - oh once I was playing softball and I hit the ball really crappy - like an accidental bunt and on the way to first, I was trying to run too fast because I was nervous I wouldn't make it there in time, so I just tripped over myself and plopped down (and I am so not gracious when I land) - then I get up and fall right back down - and again up and down - everyone on both teams was laughin their *sses off - even my parents had to turn the other way so I wouldn't see them cracking up.. oh it was horrible.. hahahaha.. hahahaha
...and then of course there was a time (or ten) in high school when you just start school and have all of those books and I was running down the stairs to get into class before the bell rang ( running late of course) and I just missed the step and flew forwar but somehow back and up and the books just went all out in front of me and allllll the way to the bottom of the stairs and then paper went everywhere -- I was humiliated...omg - I thought I was going to die..People were stepping over me - laughing - looking, staring - I don't even think anyone helped me pick up the stuff and even after I got up, everyone knew I fell cause I was picking my crap up for 15 minutes.. hahahaha ahahahah and I turned as red as I don't even know what..
...and ice and high heels -too many times, we won't even go there..
hahaha ok that is enough outta me.. hahaha

This still makes me cringe. I was playing bass and the band was taking a break, sitting at tables when a guy comes in off the street, sets a folding wooden chessboard on the floor next to me and asks if I'll keep an eye on it and disappears...Well, when it was time to go back onstage, I stepped on that stupid thing and it skidded under my foot and I fell on my rump, right there in a crowded nightclub, right in front of everybody. It was hard to play and look everybody in the eye, knowing what had just happened. Sometimes you just hafta bite the bullet.

I cant say for certain if I have ever fallen down in public but I can say that I went into hard labor with my son in front of 1500 people while singing on a stage during a charity benifit concert. I manage to finish my song but a lady int the front row realized what was happening and snapped a few pictures for me. Talk about embarrassing! Tina

Yes...I fell in the "quad" in college. Slipped on some snow/ice & fell flat on my back! I was always clumsy, so I learned to laugh at myself a long time ago, but this was sooooo embarrassing.
My friend was walking with me, so I stayed on the ground as if I was seriously hurt (kept my eyes closed/talked to her without moving my mouth), & she called over two of our friends (football players). They picked me up and carried me to the dorm...good guys - they never told.
Lots of folks thought I was seriously hurt...my professors even sent my work to me.
We still laugh about that whenever we talk.

aish.. yah.. like a month ago..
i had just bought a new pair of slops and i had noticed they were a bit low on the grip bit..
so anyways i was walking home, and was approaching a signal controlled intersection.. so now just as the signal turned green, i lifted my left leg to start walking and (((plonk))) i found myself on the floor.... right infront of all the cars that had been stopped.. heheheh so i then quickly got up dusted off my skirt, looked up and saw that the light was still green and i continued to cross the road like nothing happened.. i didnt even look at anyone in the cars, or any of the people around me, just carried on like nothing happened.. but deep down inside i wanted to pack out laughing.... heheheheheh it was soo hilarious, and mind u i aint exactly 'petite'... hehehehe life... tis good when we can laugh at ourselves..

Yes, on my way into a chinese restaurant. I was walking on the street, headed to the entrance and my friend in his car honked at me, when I turned to look and wave, I tripped over the stupid flower pot on the sidewalk and cracked my knee open. I got up, went inside the restaurant and the waitress greeted me, I asked for a napkin to wipe the blood and told her I tripped over her flower pot, all she said to me was " would you like buffet"? I said " I'm bleeding over here lady, hell no I wouldn't like buffet" and I got my napkin and hobbled out with my bloody knee. In the end, I ate McDonalds from the drive thru and I was pissed.

My friend & I were at a hockey game & went to get hot chocolate just so I could point out a guy I liked to her. I tripped right in front of him & spilled hot chocolate on his shoes. Instead of my friend being all concerned whether I was hurt she laughed her *** off. The guy looked at us like we were retards.
What a good question!!!
