Standards imposed by society make women feel like they are less feminine if they don't conform to societies standard of beautiful. This is actually an archaic standard and a sexist one. Men can be fat and famous whereas women cannot be heavy and successful.No one bothers to look past the outward appearance and see what a person truly looks like within. That's a sad thing in todays world.

I don't. I prefer to be healthy. I am very happy with my body. I work hard to keep it healthy. By healthy I mean the way a female body SHOULD look. Curvy but not skinny, full but not overweight. I bet you new money most men prefer a healthy looking woman to either a stick figure or a severely over weight woman. At least, that has been my experience. It doesn't have to be starvation or obesity. Healthy looks and feels best! No matter what they try to sell you.

I KNOW THAT MY 17 YR OLD SEES THESE WOMEN ON T.V. AND IN ADS AND I TELL HER THIS IS NOT NORMAL. I GO TO HER SCHOOL AND SEE THIS IS TRUE AS SHE IS AVG. SIZE COMPARED TO THE REST. BUT SHE HAS IT IN HER HEAD THAT A SIZE 12 IS FAT. SHE WORKS OUT AND RECENTLY SHE HAS STARTED THE SKIPPING MEALS BECAUSE SHE THINKS THIS WILL HELP HER LOSE WEIGHT.

SO I SAY THAT WOMEN GET LOW SELF ESTEEMS BUILT ON THOSE ADS AND THEN MEN WHO SEEM TO WANT THAT TYPE OF MODEL.
