be present with your Dad as much as possible. If he is not getting proper care, you or your sister should talk to the person in charge. Remember he may be able to hear you, even if it seems he is too ill to hear you. Talk to him and hold his hand. Play his favorite music for him or read to him a couple of times a day. It means so much to him to know you are there with him.

My advice is to be with him as much as possible because that is of upmost importance.
