For two weeks in a row, CBS has not televised the chiefs game. I know CBS has the broadcast rights in our market (oklahoma). Today CBS showed moutain bike racing.
Please do not respond with "because the chiefs suck!" First, I know and second, I watch bad teams on TV every sunday.

the Chiefs don't suck.
They're 2-2 and hopefully gettin better.

FOX had the doubleheader today. So that means you only get one CBS game. Depending on the time your affiliate picked up a game the Chief game may not have been an option.

I got Oakland vs. San Francisco on CBS
Kansas City vs. Arizona game was on the same time as the game above.
It depends in your area.
CBS did show bike racing.

CBS probably didn't realize the Chiefs had any fans outside of K.C. I didn't.

check into the blackout rules in your area. not sure how it is for you. for me it used to be up here, that if the Seattle game didn't have some certain percentage in the stadium they wouldn't televise the game.
