There's so many different options! I don't want to spend over $300.00 for a used (refurbished) laptop, but I want it to be fast & reliable. I don't know much about brands like E-machines or Aspire, and I'm more comfortable with Dells, Gateways, Sonys (How, I wish!). Should I buy on Ebay? or is it more advisable to purchase at BestBuy, or a place similar that there's more of a reliable seller.

i've chosed a 14.1" screen because of portability factor, any bigger it looses out on portability
processor is t7200, which has an awesome 4 mb l2 cache, so u basically have a turbo machine
truelife with widescreen & other lil factors i've added & can explain if ya post / mail me !

another awesome machine would be the dell xps m1210, with 12.1" screen & higher specs, but would cost you approx $ 1400

You'll probably find a laptop at a less expensive price on ebay, but be VERY careful to check the seller's feedback rating. At $300 for a laptop you probably won't be getting a fast one, but a slow one may be all you need right now. That's a decision you'll have to make. Good luck.

If u want used one, ebay is really the best. For new one, probably Dell are doing aggressive selling.
