Me and my girlfriend moved into an apartment 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine, but 2 days ago we both woke up with bites all over our bodies, and they itch like crazy. They look almost like tiny mosquito bites, but I haven't seen any mosquito's around. We don't have any pets, so I don't think its fleas. I haven't seen any other bugs in the apartment, so I'm stumped. They weren't here the first two weeks, so why are they here now? We keep the apartment very clean, and the rest of the building is well kept. Do you know what these things might be? This is our first time living on our own, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i think it is bad bugs, tell landlord to send exterminator, this is 3 weeks,he has to come, than wash everything in hot water, after exterminator finish get plastic for mattress, full cover, the bad bugs has nothing to do with dirty, another thing,if you each, get alcohol and gold bund medicated lotion, put immediately, when you get bite, open the light find the bug and kill it,you'll not going to have rash on your body, another thing,if you have bad bugs, you don't have to pay rent until problem is resolved, but don't spend the rent money, because, when it is resolved you will have to pay the rent.

Were you covered the first night they struck? If you were exposed probably mosquitos. I've woken up with around 5 bites in one night. Then I saw that little sucker on the wall. then BAM! gottem.
But, when they fly they are extremly hard see. So don't think cause you don't see them they are not there.
You might catch a glance then they're gone.

If not mosquitos? Bed bugs or fleas. Goodluck!

Actually we do not do anti termite treatment works, but as per my knowledge, you better get your apartment fumigated with some anti-termite/pest control services people. And always if you dont mind the expense leave mosquito repellant on 24hrs continuously. And also there might be mites or spores in your apartment, so get the services done at the earliest.

You don't have to have a pet to have fleas. When it stars getting cold bugs come inside to keep warm and now they have you to feed on theyr'e happy. I'm pretty sure it's fleas. You might not have a real problem. It could be only one.Flea bomb your house and you'll be cool.

Did you bring your own bed and mattress. If not you could have bed bugs. If this is the case get rid of the mattress and box springs.
