Elephant figurines, from all over the world. Actually, pretty much anything from all over the world. I almost bought a sword when I was in Toledo a couple years ago- didn't have the cash though... But it's mostly focused on elephants. Kinda weird, I know... and mostly just cause I had a few already and now all my relatives are always buying me more... I feel guilty, because I keep them in a cardboard box in my closet.

I think I like your collection better though. Much more useful. I'm kinda low on money though, so I'm using what I do have to buy the essentials CD-wise (right now working my way through CDs by the Clash, the Dead Kennedys, Agent Orange, X and Bad Religion). When I (A) get all the core CDs and/or (B) win the lottery, I'll probably focus on the more obscure... It'd be interesting to know what CDs you have and if I've heard of them- right now I'm guessing no...

I have collected salt & pepper shakers ever since I was a kid, over 30 years now. I haven't counted them but there are so many on my shelves, that you can't even see them all. Everyone knows so I always get them as travel souviniers (sp?), holiday gifts, etc. but my favorites are the old ones I find at flea markets, garage sales, ebay.....

I love so many of them that I can't pick one favorite but I really do need to get some shadow boxes and shelves made up so that I can display them and give them the respect they deserve!!

You could try collecting banknotes (world paper money), because that's what I collect and that gives me a lot of satisfaction as I can enjoy the educational benefits of worldwide currency banknotes, and also exchange or trade them with collectors, buy them from dealers (sometimes) or from shops and I can also sell them decades later for more money to other collectors or even to investors. I have a collection of 17 thousand + different world banknotes and I am still adding more to it. I used to collect stamps, but I find larger-than-stamps banknotes to be more rewarding in experience than stamps or postcards.

Mostly, I collect shoes!

I love books, mostly classics. Not collector's editions -- just old books from yard sales and flea markets for my own reading pleasure.

And usually when my husband and I go out of town, we find the tackiest t-shirts available and buy them to remember the trip.

I collect waterfowl and other wildlife conservation stamps, and rare books. I have a copy of Woodrow Wilson's 'In Our First Year of War,' published in 1918 that I am especially proud of.
