Anybody in engalnd have any other funny shows? I love Bo Selecta, Ali G, flying circus, etc. any others i should know about?

I live in the states but i Love British shows! Red Dwarf and My Hero is what i would recommend.

I'm not in England, i'm from Australia but I like british comedy. Here are some good ones that we get here:
The League of Gentlemen (very warped but very funny)
The Office - english version is FAR FAR FAR superior to american version
Black Books - fantastic I don't know anyone that doesn't like this show
Coupling
Extras is quite funny if you like The Office
Big Train - haven't seen it but have heard good reports
And of course Little Britain, which is also warped. I am not such a huge fan like many others but I do think most of it is very funny.

Have a look at this site. A friend of mine tells me that "Only Fools and Horses" is 'big' in Thailand! He goes there quite often, he says they love it. It is amazing, like wine, some comedies really do travel well. Our country has produced some great comedy programmes, but an awful lot of rubbish as well.

Only Fools and Horses

All four of these shows are award winning and damned funny to watch

There are so many great and innovative comedies from Britain you'd be hard pressed to name them all.

Are You being served? and Keeping Up Appearances and Absolutly Fabulous are my top 3 choices

Shows I loved to see were :
-Black Adder.

-To the manor born. (and any other comedy with Penelope Keith in it)

-Keeping up appearences.

-Bit of Fry and Laurie

-Jeeves and Wooster (Laurie as a high-placed person, Fry as his butler.....
absolutely priceless, IMHO!!!)
