Sad to say that for many of us non-republicans....the bulb was lit in 2000 when the republicans stole the white house.....yet the cons still continue to walk in the dark...even AFTER what has come to "light" 6 years later...
Perhaps more of us should take the advice of LONNIE P (above)

With all of its major imperfections, the Republicans are still better to vote for than the Dems. That does not say much for the Dems.
Hey Scotty, you need to brush up on tax policy a bit more my boy. Maybe your reason for not having the wisdom is because you are young and naive. I trust that yourself and other simple-minded types will finally come to your senses one day and understand that these things do not work in an arithmetic manner. Common sense goes a long way.
In any case, you did give me a chuckle, even if it was at your own expense.

The Republican party is rotten to the core, but I think it is naive to believe the Democratic party is any different. When the Republicans went to Washington in 1994, they soon forgot their base. Since then, we have not had REAL tax reform and the budget is more bloated than ever.
Vote Libertarian. Even if the party you sympathize with gets voted-out because of your Libertarian vote, they will realize in the next election cycle that they need to get back to their basics.

With the exception of the Governors race I have and probably always will vote R. At this time I don't like any of the three candidates for Gov. so that is still a ?.I agree with a lot of their tax, gay marriage, stem cell and most of their education reform ideas. As far as the war goes we have to stick it out now that we are there. The Bush follies as you called them happens with each President. There is something with every Pres. that the opposing party fixates on. Silly Billy had Monica, Nixon had Watergate, Kennedy had Marilyn and so on ( those were the first ones that came to mind no picking on certain parties). You just have to go with the ones you agree the most with.

Are you going to end it all if the democrats lose in November? If the Republicans win even more seats than they have now, what will you do?
I'm an independent Conservative (non-religious) voter, and I will never vote for Democrats because they are all spineless cowards.

I will never, EVER, vote Democrat or Republican. The only way to break the power base is to vote for anything BUT one of these parties.
Please, please, please people -- STOP BEING MINDLESS LEMMINGS. Think for yourselves and vote for someone, ANYONE, who is neither of the above mentioned parties. If you vote Dem, you may as well have voted Rep.
If you vote Rep., you may as well have voted Dem.
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THESE PARTIES. They may want you to BELIEVE there is, but there isn't.
