Had car impounded and need to transfer the registration and title to my name. The current registration is in my aunts name. If the impounders saw the previous owners name and I recently did the transfer and I have the title/ownership and current insurance is there any reason for my aunt to appear at the impound when the only thing they noticed was a name registration that was not yet transferred?

Depends on how much of a red neck they are at the impound station.
My license was suspended for 3 years because of my daughters wreck and my name was on the car as a second signer. Never do that again.... But suspention never showed up on my record except in main office. Not my city.

Your aunt will probably get an impound notice, but you shouldn't have a problem...
