Due to rapid growth of communication technology the post offices are not having any cusomer to post the mails.The post office has changed its operations according to the changes.But now the postal system is working in old method which is not suitable to the present young generation needs . what we can suggest to the post office to change its opertaions to suite all of us.

I don't know what country you are writing from. Technology has affected world wide postal systems in many ways. USPS has compensated for the loss of first class mail by following the transformation plan which you can find at USPS.com. I found the recent article in the Wall Street Journal very sad as to what is happening to mail carriers in India. I can't imagine asking my carriers to sell aloe or onions on their routes.
Although first class mail here is down .04%, parcel delivery and catalog delivery is up. On time delivery performance is at record levals. I think hand writen letters will become fashionable soon, they are so much more meaningful than e's.

post officed r going to be the only mode of postage once the indian postal act 2006 is passed in the parliment. the leter mail will become the exclusive right of the postal dept to carry- upto 300 gms. so the very question of post offices - required or not does not arise.
but the question in future will be- who will run the postal dept??
