What do you think? Immorality is at an all time high. Welfare is at an all time high. STD is at an all time high. Divorce is at an all time high. Those who should have rights have none and those who should not have rights get them and then want more. A very large percentage of the population is one step away form bankruptcy. Hardly any one is debt free. Own home free and clear. Own car free and clear. Criminals are walking the streets to commit more crimes. Children are having sex on school buses while riding to school. Bus drivers are told not to do anything. Might get sued. Civil Rights you know. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Oh I almost forgot what about the Drug Problem? Doesn't seem to go away does it. And how about this one. Not being able to perform one's job is not grounds for dismissal. Civil rights you know. Get the picture? Well maybe huh? I know what will solve the problem or problems. Lets kill all the smokers. They are the ones who caused all the trouble any way.

How about financial planning? Personal= living beyond your means. Too expensive house, too expensive cars, usually x 2, Credit cards maxed out usually x5 or more. Now lets not forget entertainment and dressing to the 9s. All=bankruptcy usually.
Government spending= same as above, though a bit more complex. One could sum it up by saying too many coaches and not enough players (workers). Oh they can raise taxes and then there will be less workers. We can get on welfare too. I started to say something else in reference to the coaches and workers but that would have been racist and not politically correct. Oh hell, that was probably offensive to sports fans. Sorry sports fans. How about too many frogs and not enough tadpoles. ops Sorry froggies. Well how about GOVERNMENT IS JUST TO FRIGGIN BIG. Also paying out too much money on non productive programs. In conclusion I will ask why Government doesn,t solve the national debt problem by doing what any red blooded American would do ? You got it Bankruptcy.

Like all Kingdoms, British, Amercan, Roman etc have their days. America has ruled the roost, it would have stayed a bit longer but the BUSHES etc have made the tenure short.

The average Americana are loud and arrogant, but the leaders surpass them by a mile.

The best thing for America is to stop thinking about being world leader and to start looking after its own people, 30% to 40% are below the poverty line, a shame for the supposedly richest country in the world.

Those who look beyond its borders have no eyes for within its own borders.

I think there will be a civil war in the US within the next 50 years. Every world power comes to and end. The US is divided by regions in many ways and its just a matter of time before states or regions start calling for indepedence.

The U.S. originally didn't think much of world affairs, even after WWI. WWII changed that with the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the verbal threats along with spying on the U.S. from the Soviet Union. I think after Iraq which is almost over (over 75% of Iraq will be turned over to the Iraqis by the begining of next year and probably 100% before 2008) and Afganistan (which might be five years from now), the U.S. might again turn inward. That would basically make countries take care of themselves...again.

Sooner or later every empire fall, and China in 15 years will be the next superpower, and behind China we can see a Brazil and India.
Remember the Roman and the British empires, now only the ego still great.

Considering the rate at which we are being populated by people from our enemy government's lands...No. Now that I think about it tell me how we are the leader now. I hate that...I mean seriously we are not the center of the world. Oh and if you mean "leader" as in "Military Power" how could we be? Who will stand behind the guns in 100 years? Corporate executives?

Probably not.....by then it will still be a world power, but it might not be the world leader. Nothing lasts forever....history has shown that empires, if you want to call us the 'American Empire', rise and fall.

Certainly. We have been since shortly after our birth, and we will continue to be, unless we get Democratic or Socialist (almost the same) Presidents as far into the future as the eye can see.

No not in the next 10 years, republicans have seen to that ending quite well!!!
I would more compare us to Africa in the next few! Unless there is a great official takeover and legitimate elections showing democracy-not dictatorship we are doomed to African handouts!
