Most japanese live in japan... so if north korea were to nuc...japan, would the japanese and japanese culture as we know it, end in a second. and how about South Korea...I worry about this

You don't realize that this is all part of a political ploy by Kim to try to improve the economy of North Korea by threatening...The North Koreas are surrounded by more powerful nations and their silly effort to get into the world-wide community is to threaten...besides with the Japanese interests ( in Hawaii and the mainland of the US), a sustained Japanese culture is assured. Korean culture in the North and in the South are essentially the same. Don't worry, unless Bush decides to do something foolish...if he does, he will ignite a course that will lead to World War III....the best action for the US is to allow China to manage it....China is more even-tempered and cool-headed than the US.

do you understand how many nukes it would take to "Wipe" Japan off the face of the earth? I mean we personaly pounded them with 2, on major cities, and they still exist today. if North Korea nuked japan with whatever Crappy bomb technology that they have, Japan will answer back.... they have quite a few nukes, and their secret weapon GOJIRA

Gee, thanks, but ahhhh there are enough Japanese on homestay programs overseas at any given time for the race to survive. As far as their culture goes, they're already doing a good job of destroying it on their own. The same applies to the Koreans

not to bring up bad memories... the United States did drop 2 atom bombs on japan and look at them now. I'm sure it will be a tragedy but they aren't exactly pushovers and what ever doesn't kill them only makes them stronger.
