a friend recently had a can of coke with litteratly a teaspoon of sraight vodka..[yuck] anyway my question is can it harm an unborn baby a about 6 weeks... ( not for me)
i prefer straight vodka i like the burn...:P

Drinking while pregnant shows no concern for the child growing inside of you. I hope your friend does some research and stops drinking now. Did your friend know that if a baby is born and is dependant on drugs or alcohol, the state can take immediate custody? Here is a really good link for you to share with your friend. If you truly care about the baby, you will support her in her decision to not drink. Let her know you are there for her.

There is a possibility that it could, because the first stages of pregnancy are the most critical in developement. Unfortunately it's also the time that a lot of women don't know they are pregnant! I didn't know I was pregnant with my son and went to a smashing halloween party where I enjoyed myself thoroughly only to later spend a good share of my pregnancy paranoid that I had done something to a baby I didn't know I had at the time of the party. Now I look at my two year old son and thank the Lord he's healthy and normal.

hmmmmmmmmmmm. ok so you have an idea that alcohol could harm the fetus.... but what you do not know is the side effects of caffeine. please do some reading and it will be wise if a pregnant woman stays away from caffeine. the link below can help you in this.

It is wise for your friend not to do it again. It might not have harmed anything. Just make sure your friend takes proper care from now on. No breaks.

Most likely NO..i was told by my doctor when i was pregnant that i could have a glass of wine a day and my baby would still be fine....

Oh absolutely not. I'd prescribe five to seven doses of that daily, and a weekly keg of ale. don't miss a single party, hit every beer bong, and make sure that not an hour goes by sober.
Of course, you could say that the coke would be bad since it has caffeine.

when you are pregnant your blood sugar alchol level is the same of the fetes. no alchol is the best. but i dint think that amount will hurt the bub.
