when you hit 18 years old, she will only be 14 or 15... her parents can press charges agains you if you two do anything...

For people who say age is only a number, they are sadly mistakened. I for one am married to a woman who is twice as old as I am. When we first met (over the net) thats what we said as well. I have been with her now for over a yr and a half and let me tell you age does make a difference. Its a difference in thinking and maturity. In your case, age can matter because of thinking and maturity as well. You should step back and think to yourself about how you thought about things when you were 14 and what has changed in only 3 years. Best advice: Wait for some time to make sure the maturity levels are matched.

Its not a big deal. 3 years is not much at all. As long as she is mature and knows what she wants, then you guys are fine. Though if you were 19 and she was 16 it would be better because she would be more mature and easier to deal with.

Of course its OK to be in a relationship with her if she willing. Remember age is just a number, so don't let it stand by your way because you will always regret not asking her out in the future.
