Move data to drive D:
Change the location of Temporary Internet Files Folder to D: (Tools, Internet Options, Temporary Internet Files - Settings, Move Folder)
Change location of Temp files folder to D:\Temp

and install all non-essential software on D: instead of C:

You seem to have 2 paritions on your drive represented by drive letters "C" and "D". You could use FDisk by microsoft to delete the partitions and create a new 1 to use up all of the 80GB however doing so will destroy all your data. Another alternative is to use third party software such as Partion Magic - this will allow you to merge both partitions and thus allowing you to use drive C as 80GB.

Does that answer your question?

If u are using windows XP thn try to free atleast 500+ mb of space frm ur hard drive c. There is a hidden file called Pagefile.sys which is growing and shrinking (Virtual Memory)
if u want to utilize ur d drive than locate your virtual memory file on Drive d and remove it from C..

because d drive is a seperate drive not connected with c...u can run ur programs from d instead of c which will set them up on d n use less space....and still run efficently...just when installing any program pay attention to where it wants to install and install to d rather than c...u can also do disk clean up (under start, programs, accessories, system, disk clean up(put shortcut of this on ur desktop and use everyday) it will clear up alot of space by deleting temp files/cache etc u do not need on ur pc...u can also move picture files or others that u dont use alot to d with a shortcut to ur desktop so there still easily accesible....hope this helps....
