it is not the clothes that make the woman....if she is dressing too sexy then tell her that she looks nice...use reverse psychology on her!! Remember the only person that you can change--is YOURSELF!!

You cant change her, but it is possible for her to change because she prefers to have you than not.

For example: When I was dating my wife. I was very up front and told her that I didnt want to be with her because of some conditions in her life (lifestyle, some friends). This was in the beginning I was up front about what I didnt want. She wanted to be with me enough that she saw that she could go without those things to be with me.

Now she smoked when i first met her and soon after she stopped. But in the last few years she has started again. I hate it. But there is nothing i can do. It wasnt a deal breaker for me in the beginning, and cant say it is now either. I dont like it but I cannot MAKE her quit. I just pray that she does.

Dear Loverboy:
When I first went out with my present lover he changed my sense of clothing and i didnot mind, I was madly inlove! Now its been 2 years and I feel so suffocated , now i revert to my old dress and I am once again confident of myself!
If your gf wanna dress like tht let her be, for a woman is happy , truly happy only when she can dress and shop as she pleases!
If you still cannot bear to be with her becoz of that then its better to part now, than be heartbroken later!
Love Sanam

If you truly, truly love her, you will accept her the way she is. If her clothes bother you, take her shopping. Women's tastes change, so the clothes issue shouldn't really be an issue.

Don't think you can ever change anybody. Only they can change themselves, or God can change them.

I would say, she makes a valid point. If you dont like her the way she is, then perhaps you need to seek another, who you will find more pleasing. It's not fair to ask another to change to suit your needs/wants/desires. Everyone is an individual. And you accept them for who they are...........or move on.......

Please find someone that you dno't need to change.

or find someone who has things you don't agree with but that you can live with.

Eventually you want to be comfortable with someone.

It is sooooo important to be yourself. As you get older you will understand this.

I believe there are so many divorices because people marry som eone and figure they will change. It just gets worse.

you better just stop that right there... you can't force a person to change. but thru the relationship, she might end up making compromises or adjustments to make you both happy.

If you love someone, you love them for who they are, what they are and how they are. You should not want to change them. If she wanted you to change your way of dress, would you? I so hate it when someone says, "If you loved me, you would change this, for me!"

You can't! Don't even think about wanting to change someone. Accept them for who they are.

You do nothing! You met her the way she is and you shouldn't want to change her!
