MASTER GARDENER TO THE RESCUE
Boy I don't know what state Don S lives in but if they have extension personal making house calls, i want to move there. None of the state that I know of give service like that. in fact that is why the extension service begain the MASTER GARDENER program back in the 1980s. the MASTER GARDENERS were formed to take the load off the over worked County Farm Advisors and turned over all home gardening questions and advise to the MASTER GARDENER volunteers. When contacting the extension you will be directed to the local MASTER GARDENERS. Yes, DON S was correct, you can get all kinds of good stuff from our office via mail, fax and e-mail. but if you are waiting for a live person to show up at your home, don't hold your breath. we don't make house calls. Check with your county extension agent.Remember that guy on Green Acres.They will even send someone out to your house and provide you with all sorts of information.Best part is it's free.Good Luck.
