if you are interested in going through train type "indianrail.gov.in"
Go to internet reservation; you need to sign up initially just like any othe r mail id. Then follow the step. U got to provide an Identity proof if u have opted for E-ticket.(What is e-ticket n what is I-ticket is provided in there.). You also need credit or debit card.

OR CREATE YR ACCOUNT FIRST
NOW LOGIN
select the source station
select the dewtination station
select the best suited train
check the availability
finalise the train
book the ticket.
the ticket will be delivered to you thru courier.

You can go to railways website (www.indianrail.gov.in) and select internet reservation register first and can book tickets online.

http/makemytrip.com will give details of all airlines and you can choose and book your ticket.
