Any sites that offer free and interesting e-books?

Am interested in good stories like Catherine Cookson, Victoria Holt, and Agatha Christie write. They do not have to be famous writers though. I just want to find some good stuff to read.I like historical fiction the best but if it is a good story of any era please let me know. Thanks!

This site has a lot of good ones, but you have to register for it, so I suggest using a seperate email for the registration. But McAfee SiteAdvisor says it's a good site, so eh, I never had a problem!
