It is a very difficult world we live in, without having to worry about a sociopath Russian educated leader. he is a truly warped man of very bizarre tastes.

Kim Jong-il either does not understand that we have no designs on overthrowing him, or he is grandstanding for his own military, who have among themselves those who doubt his sanity.

North Korea is also strapped for cash, and there are those who would pay him dearly for the technology to build their own nuke. Or perhaps buy a ready made one.

Coupled with the difference is how Oriental diplomacy works, Kim Jong-il's idiosyncrasies, and the threat of nuclear terrorism this test presents another area of extremely grave concern for Japan, South Korea, and the United States.

Only time will tell how this plays out.

it is a historical time for N. Korea, they feel they will be able to protect themselves by making and testing a nuclear bomb,, they feel that the US wants to invade their country too, so they felt threatened, therefore they prevailed in having nuclear weapons

well the news has been buzzing that DPRK has detonated its nuke. Now that the test has been done, expect international comdination of Jung-IL.In my opioin that has reshaped the far eastern region and China may take action on her own.
