Ive been in Vegas drinking every where, on the streets as well, basically just don't be stupid and the police wont mess with you! (and 21) .. I mean come on they even have drive through martini bars.

21, but drinking in public means like bars and clubs. you cant just walk around town with a bottle of booze

21 and you can drink on the strip, but METRO POLICE expects a person to act with maturity and responsibility. NO jaywalking or messing with others in an obnoxious manner.

I went to Vegas in 2000, and practically everyone was walking on the strip with drinks and I doubt they were all non-alcoholic.

Vegas is wild. But you can not be wild and lawless in public. If you can handle your liquor use a plastic cup and head to your next destination. If you buzz easily then wait until you get to your next hang out. Be smart.

I believe it is similar to New Orleans, you can do it, but it has to be in a plastic cup.
