It's not smart to follow your heart all the time. You sound like you are having second thoughts regarding something that you are not telling us. Is he being a jerk in a way that bothers you a lot? Sometimes it's better to start new than ending up in a messed up relationship.

In the very end mind rules over heart. what if you loved that guy who killed the little amish children. would your heart rule over you mind . think about it that is why god gave you a mind. Sorry but I let my heart rule over my mind and hav paid the price for it and believe me it is not worth it in the end it will be you who is hurt not the other person . All the best
