I think the song was called Turn Around. I think Ed Ames sang it, not sure though. I just remember hearing it myself. The end says something like, "turn around and you're a old man with kids all your own."

It is a lulaby Jonny Lang does one version of it.

Where are you goin' my little one, little one?
Where are you goin' my baby my own?
Turn around and you're two
Turn around and you're four
Turn around and you're a young girl/boy
Going out of the door

CHORUS

Turn around
Turn around
Turn around and you're a young girl/boy
Going out of the door
Turn around and you're a young wife/man
With babes of you're own

Where are you going' my little one, little one?
Little dirndles and petticoats/snakes & puppy dog tails,
where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny
Turn around and you're grown
Turn around and you're a young wife/man
With babes of your own

CHORUS

Where are you goin' my little one, little one?
Where are you goin' my baby my own?
