girls like guys who take an interest in them but doesnt really show that they really like them. mayb just by making conversation with her where there's no awkward silence and at the same tim no excessive talking. most girls go for the personality of the guy and his sweetness and the ability to make her laugh.

With confidence! The image you want to give off is that you kinda like her, but that you aren't head over heels. When a girl thinks you REALLY like her she starts thinking that she must be too good for you otherwise you wouldn't like her so much.
Try flirting with her a little bit in order to feel things out and see if she likes you as well. DON'T follow the other persons advice and start giving her flowers right away or give food...she isn't a puppy.
It's fine to ask her out...but have just a hint of swagger and lots of confidence.
Women like to pretend that they like a sensitive guy and they do...but only after they've been with him for a while. They like to discover the sensitive side once they've seen your other side first.
Something as simple as "how would you feel about doing XYZ next Friday will usually work". Keep it simple...this stuff isn't any easier for girls.

just approach the girl in a friendly manner....be gentleman and offer her some snacks in ur school canteen since u were still in highschool...be urself..dont pretend something u were not...but the most important thing have courage and will to approach her..never think negative like rejection,afraid,etc.........

Fake some confidence. If somehow you can muster the right mixture of confidence and nice guy charisma. Find something about her clothes or shoes or something she is holding and compliment it. Going right to the "wow you have really nice eyes" might creep her out. But seriously, your going to have to strike out a few times before you hit one out of the park.

walk up to her, while she's by herself, maybe by her locker, and talk to her like a normal person. and don't ever use dumb pick up lines. actually, just say something like "hey, [name here], you look really pretty today" and walk away. if she likes you, she'll go crazy, and send her little girl squad and find out everything about you within hours. if not, well, she'll be freaked out, and run the other way everytime you see her. but, hey, go for it!

let her know that you are feeling her and that you are the one that is going to treat her right following some flowers or a little note.
