I think that he was a man who had the courage of his convictions. He was originally studying to be a doctor, so he was probably very intelligent, and probably wanted to help other people. After he was recruited as a medic, he saw what the people in poor rural areas were going through, and wanted to help them.
I am not saying that I agree with his tactics or ideology, but theirs was a world far removed from anything that I can comprehend, and so I will not pass judgement.
I admire his courage, and his dedication to his cause. I guess if you were one of the people opposed to the resistance, then yes, he would be a terrorist.

Well I know that he died at the hands of the Bolivian Army in La Higuera near Vallegrande on October 9, 1967. Participants in, and witnesses to, the events of his final hours testify that his captors executed him without trial. That's sad :-(
Also as a young man studying medicine,he traveled rough throughout Latin America, bringing him into direct contact with the impoverished conditions in which many people lived. Through these experiences he became convinced that only revolution could remedy the region's economic inequality, leading him to study Marxism and become involved in Guatemala's social revolution under President Jacobo Arbenz Guzmán. That means that he actually cares for people.
He started participating in chess tournaments at age of 12. That means he is a real talent, but wasted :-(

No, he shot people just for jollies (by his own admission). He wasn't even very effective as a guerrilla leader, first he went to Angola and accomplished nothing, then he got himself killed in Bolivia. Nice T-shirts, lunch boxes, etc., though.

he was an idealistic man. some call him a terrorist, but in reality anyone who uses means of violence is a terrorist. he wasn't a bad man but he was certainly not afraid to do whatever he needed to acheive his goal so... in other words, he was both.

A "terrosit?" Well, what else could one be, a "terrostand?" At least he was comfortable.
