im talking about sites like www.pokerstakers.com...when i google free poker money i just get all the poker sites like partypoker and so on

You get $10 absolutly free at royalvegas.com and vcpoker.com. You have to sign up, of course, but you don't need an inital deposit or anything. With vcpoker, I believe you need a signup code. As I remember it is "free10", but not positive. I recieved $10 free from both of these sites, so I know it works... good luck

most poker sites have free play. you are using no real money, but set your amount based on which level of play you are on. most sites such as partypoker.net and wpt.net have this type of play for the amatuer through pro level. there are hundreds of sites so a simple poker search will give you many sites. you have to download the game and you play online against other online players. it is usually texas hold'em and takes some degree of caution when playing in order to learn the ins and outs of the game well.
